1. Give three examples of body movements that will enhance the effectiveness of your teaching and improve the interest level of your listener.
Use your whole face. Show emotion in your expressions. Hand movements: raise them, lower them, and stretch them out. Use your whole body by walking around, bending over, using many different positions.
2. Why are body movements especially important when teaching children?
Children quickly get bored. So it is the teacher’s duty to be highly animated and to act out the great stories of the Bible in living flesh. Let the children know you are alive and excited about teaching God’s truths.
