A dream is a concept or an idea but a vision is a verb and indicates action.

1. How do you understand the phrase "vision is the future image of an answered prayer"?
2. Explain how one goes about setting a vision that is part of God's plan?

Apply It

1. Talk to the older members of your church to find out how the initial vision for the local church came to be and how it played out over the years.
2. Prayerfully consider a vision for your local church. Ask the Lord to reveal it to you. Involve others in praying for a vision for your church.
