Dr. Bill McRae
Dr. McRae (Th.M & D.Min Dallas Theological Seminary) is President Emeritus, Tyndale University College & Seminary in Toronto. He has served in local churches in Dallas, Texas, and London, Ontario, as an elder and pastor/teacher. In addition, he has mentored many young men and been a source of encouragement to many elders and preachers through the years. Bill is widely used of God in conference speaking and is author of numerous books. He and his wife, Marilyn, live north of Toronto, in the town of Apsley, Ontario.
Dr. John Iamaio
John became a Christian while in college. He held a master’s degree in Biblical Studies and a Ph.D. in Counseling. John was licensed with the American Association of Christian Counselors and also with the National Association of Christian Counselors. John was in the traditional pastorate for 22 years. He taught Biblical Studies, Greek and psychology classes at Northumberland Christian High School in Pennsylvania and Webster Christian School in Webster, New York. John was married to his wife, Betty, for almost 50 years. John went to be with the Lord in 2022.
Ben Mathew
Ben is a native of Southern Ontario, Canada, and was involved in a number of ministries in his home church. He received his B.S. in Biblical Studies from Emmaus Bible College and continued his graduate work at Dallas Theological Seminary, earning his M.A. in Biblical Counseling. Ben worked in the Dallas area for a number of years in private practice and at the nationally known Minirth Clinic specializing in adolescent rehab and conflict resolution. He is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Iowa and now serves at Emmaus Bible College as Chair and professor in the Counseling Psychology department. Ben also works in the Student Services department as the Director of Counseling Services. Ben and his wife, Jenna, live in Dubuque, Iowa, with their children, Elias, Zachary, Ainsley, and Olivia. They stay involved with various ministries while he is a favorite speaker at numerous churches, camps, and conferences across North America.
Dr. Joseph Hellerman
Dr. Hellerman has taught at Talbot for more than a decade and ministered in the church most of his adult life. Joe’s seminary training (at Talbot) focused on Old Testament studies, while his doctoral research at UCLA dealt with the social history of the early Christians. Joe has authored three academic monographs: The Ancient Church as Family (Fortress Press, 2001), Reconstructing Honor in Roman Philippi (Cambridge University Press, 2005), and Jesus and the People of God: Reconfiguring Ethnic Identity (Sheffield Phoenix Press, 2007). He has also written two books about Christian community for church leaders: When The Church Was A Family (B & H Press, 2009) and Embracing Shared Leadership (Kregel, 2013).
